1. Scope, Provider and Definitions

These Terms of Use govern the use of the web application grafcet.io (hereinafter "grafcet.io"). You accept these Terms of Use as part of your registration as a user of the platform grafcet.io. In doing so, you also confirm that you have read and understood these Terms of Use in full. The time of your consent and the version in force at that time are logged for evidentiary purposes (see Privacy Policy).

3. Rules for Registration

(1) During registration, provide only truthful information. You make any changes to this information (in particular your email address) promptly yourself in your user account. You are responsible for ensuring that emails sent to the email address you have provided reach you. (2) For registration, you provide a valid email address and choose your own password; alternatively, you can sign in with your Google account. We do not assign a separate username – you sign in using your email address. For security reasons, the password must meet minimum requirements (at least 8 characters as well as upper- and lowercase letters, at least one digit and one special character). Your password is stored exclusively in hashed (encrypted) form by our authentication service provider and is at no time visible to us in plain text. After registration, you receive a confirmation email; your account only becomes usable after confirmation (via the link it contains or the code stated in the email). With a free user account, 3 cloud save slots are additionally available to you. Pro license: unlimited cloud storage, export without watermark, SVG and WebP export, title block in the PDF export, and unlimited GRAFCET simulation. Available as a yearly or monthly license as well as a volume purchase (several independent individual licenses) for schools, universities and teams. It is neither intended nor approved for connecting to or controlling real machines, installations or safety-relevant controls.

5. Acquisition of the License

5.1 Individual licenses Free individual licenses: By creating a free user account, we grant you the simple, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, revocable at any time and, in accordance with these Terms of Use, content-limited right to access the respective current version of grafcet.io by means of telecommunication and to use the functionalities in accordance with this agreement. The right of use is limited in time and ends when you delete your free user account. By acquiring a paid Pro license, you receive the usage rights specified via Paddle. You do not receive any rights beyond this, in particular to grafcet.io, the underlying software application or the operating software. Paid Pro version: We have decided to use a Merchant of Record. Two relationships therefore arise upon acquisition of the license: (1) The sale of the Pro license takes place through the Reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd., which acts as Merchant of Record and thus as the legal reseller (Reseller) of the license. 7. Term and Renewal

After a successful purchase, you receive a license key by email. You activate it in your user account on grafcet.io. Activation must take place within 12 months from purchase; a key not activated by then lapses. From the time of activation, the Pro license is valid for 365 days (yearly license) or 30 days (monthly license). The Pro license ends automatically upon expiry of the stated term. There is no automatic renewal; a renewal is effected solely through the purchase of a new license.

8. Withdrawal / Returns

Your statutory right of withdrawal is governed by the purchase contract with Paddle; the Buyer Terms of Paddle apply in addition. As long as the license key is not activated, you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days. The refund is handled by Paddle.
